An officially licensed board book—written by Elvira, Mistress of the Dark—introducing little readers to her classic spooky friends—featuring glow-in-the-dark highlights on the cover!
I bought this for my niece thinking it'd just be a cute novelty, but the rhyming text is actually fun to read aloud. She makes me turn to the page with the glowing eyes on the cover every single night.
My toddler is obsessed with the glow-in-the-dark ghosts on the cover and insists on turning off the lights to see them every night. The board pages are thick enough to survive her teething phase, which is saying something. Cute intro to spooky stuff without being actually scary.
Bought this for my niece's first birthday and the glow-in-the-dark bats on the cover genuinely light up after a minute under the lamp. The board pages are thick enough that she can chew on them without damage, and the art is spooky-cute rather than scary.
